We are a group of local women from Arbourthorne, Sheffield, who get together to try and make the community we live in a better place to live.

One of the ways we do this is through our good deeds programme offering our time, equipment, and skills to do good deeds for local people in our community. This may be helping someone to clean and declutter their home, garden tidy ups, or other odd jobs such as putting shelves up.

We are also in the process of creating an upcycling scheme where we collect free unwanted furniture, give it a new lease of life, and give it to someone in need.

We hope as we do these good deeds we will get get lots of help along the way from other people in our community and hope to bring the spirit of kindness, togetherness, and a culture of doing good things to our community.

If you would like to know more, to join us, or nominate someone for a good deed, pop us an email at womenincommunityaction@gmail.co.uk.
